A messed up Week
This is just a short note to keep you informed about the status of my data and program recovery. As I had to replace my PC’s motherboard, a new installation of Windows is required since the Chip set of the new hardware was not compatible with the previous installs. The re-install concerns both Win 7 installations on my computer.
An urgent Solution – and the serious stuff
Just to be quickly back online, I have loaded a Win7 and some communication tools to one of the hard drives. Now the serious stuff will have to be implemented.
I am cleaning out my C drive and will install all programs from scratch on a re-formated HD. The good news is: I will end up with a clean and fast computer and I will become aware of may be some new software or new features available, which I will not hesitate to install. Installation is not really the main worry; configuration and data import will take more time.
I will try to follow up on support issues as they are brought to my attention via the blog, but my focus will remain on getting my systems back to work efficiently to be back with full speed on Monday.
Tonight’s call
Tonight we will quickly have a look at XO and how it can function as a blaster replacement. To do this we will use the installation of Ycademy.net and the sandbox theme.
